Soft Shell Crab Double Down


  • 2 Handy Tempura Battered Prime Soft Shell Crabs.
  • 2 Sliced Bacon, cooked.
  • 2 Slices of ham or pork roll, grilled.
  • 1 Egg, fried sunny side up.
  • 1 Slice Gouda cheese.
  • Maple syrup to taste.

Method for Serving

  • Prepare the Tempura Soft Shell Crabs according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • *For Convection ovens, reduce the cooking time by approximately 1/3*
  • Assemble the Double Down on a piece of parchment paper by placing one of the crabs first, belly side up.
  • Top the crab with the cheese, bacon, ham, and egg.
  • Place the second crab belly side down on top of the egg and drizzle with maple syrup.
